Event Schedule

  • 9:00 AM: doors open / check-in
  • 9:30 AM: team mixer
  • 10:15 AM: opening presentation
  • 10:30 AM: hacking starts / check-in ends
  • 2:30 PM: soft deadline for submissions
  • 3:00 PM: hard deadline for submissions
  • 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM: judging begins
  • 5:00 PM: potential guest speaker
  • 5:30 PM: announce winners + closing ceremony
  • 6:00 PM: event end hard deadline
Eligibility

This hackathon is designed for participants interested in networking, from beginners to more advanced builders. Some tracks are accessible with no prior experience, while others build on tools like Python, Cisco CLI, GNS3, or Wireshark.

Project and Submission Requirements

Projects must relate to networking and fit one of the event categories. Depending on the category, participants may use tools such as:

  • Packet Tracer / Cisco CLI for Security
  • GNS3 + Python + Netmiko / NAPALM / telnetlib for Network Programmability and Automation
  • Wireshark for Network Analysis

Beginner-friendly projects and educational projects are welcome, including games, simulators, and visual explainers.
